  • Teagasc Forest Research Day, Oak Park, Carlow  – 16th October 2019
  • Science week, forest management and bushcraft, Foulksmills 9-10th November 2019 – talk by timber harvester Pat Doyle on the management of the forestry on site, the species planted and end uses of the timber to two scout groups.  Other activities included: kick sampling in a river, macroinvertebrates, an assault course, camping,   and bushcraft skills
