IFA Farm Business certify local wood producers…
In April 2013 members of Wexford Wood Producers and Timber Kilkenny  became certified chainsaw operators after completing their CS30 and CS31 courses. The course covered chainsaw maintenance, safety procedures,  use of protective clothing, crosscutting, stacking, felling techniques, snedding and de-limbing.  The course was part funded by IFA Farm Business Skillnets and delivered by Tree Care Ireland.  Members who completed the course were : Burke Corbett, Vinnie McNamara, Instructor Paul Spooner, Will Gabbet, Kevin Kenny, Nicky Cowman and Tony Wall.
